This is actually a very good case study on this stuff. Ghost of Tsushima was a fantastic game, well received, sold well, etc.

Yeah, under normal circumstances, like circa 2005, I wouldn't see a reason to bat an eye, but the pattern has been established enough that the red flags just aren't worth giving anyone the benefit of the doubt these days.

Like Lanx said earlier, they had plenty of choices for voice actors and could have ideally gotten an actual Japanese woman instead of some parasite.
