I"ve renovated a couple of places. I used to help my uncle during the summers when I was in high school. I"m no master carpenter but I can cut a straight line and swing a hammer fairly accurately. I have a real good memory so if I fuck up too bad I can at least go get lunch.

Pretty unlikely. Just like everything else in life, once you"re with someone for awhile, you take them for granted that they"ll always be there, no matter what you do. Gotta make it a point to work at relationships or they"ll wither and die just like that cactus your grandma brought you back from Arizona when you were 8...and that fucker only needed water twice a year.

I made sure to tell her I loved her everyday. I made sure she knew how much she meant to me. Thats why after she hit me with the indecisive bullshit I packed my shit and got out. Not sure what else I could possibly do besides throw myself on the ground and beg for her to love me again. I beg from no one. Like I said if she wants to fix this relationship the ball is in her court.

It"s cliche but yeah, you pretend to forget about her and move on, then you really do forget about her and have moved on, then you find someone new but are wiser for the whole experience. Just make sure you learn something from the whole experience.

For example, in my last attempt at a relationship I learned that I should not date girls who think gaming is a waste of time or "childish." Ho boy. Nice ass though, shame.

In my experience; if none of what someone is doing makes sense, it"s because you don"t have all of the information. Either you are holding back information from us about how this relationship was actually going, or she is holding something back from you.

If it"s the latter then be ready for more things to come to light and fuck with your sanity in a big way. Most women are like orangutans; they never let go of one branch until they have a firm grasp on another. But you could have been an asshole so it"s too soon for anyone to try and give advice.

I work nights and go to school full time. She works days and goes to school full time. We maybe saw each other an hour a day until the weekends. We normally would go out to dinner at least one night a week. Sometimes it was hard, but we knew it was going to be like this for a little while. Hell its only 2 more months then this semester is over.

I hate working nights, I"m a morning person naturally but I slogged through it because I knew I was working towards getting done school and bankrolling some cash. I"m not tooting my horn here but I work 50+ hours a week and go to school 18 credit hours plus this this semester I have 30 hours of observation I had/have to do. I don"t have time to be an asshole. The whole point of me taking a crapload of classes was because I"m trying to get done school asap. Im going for a degree in education so in West Virginia I can teach in state for 5 years and they"ll forgive my loans. She is planning on going to graduate school at Marshall once she graduates from WVSU. So it would have worked out perfectly. I teach while she goes to graduate school. Now, who the fuck knows. I"m still going to go for my degree but the near future, I"ll just see what happens.

I think I"ve heard this story before. Maybe even lived it. If what you"ve described is accurate you might be surprised, but it seems to break down into this "men are logical, women aren"t" in our fundamental structure.

I"ve had a relationship where we were both working hard toward a place where we could get out of school, settle down and have a family. She logically understood that. I was working and paying for my classes. She had a job and classes as well. And... if we sat down and talked about it she was like, "Yes, we need to do this. It makes sense and its the best way for us to finish our degrees and get good jobs so we can have a good future for us and kids."

But.... despite the logical realization of that and agreement on what we needed to do, it still didn"t change the fact that when I had to go to work and we couldn"t go see a movie together or if she had to go to a "couples dinner" with her friends without me because I was at work... well.

Despite all the "understanding" of the situation on a logical level, her wiring/chemistry was sending completely different emotional signals. Needless to say, it didn"t work in the end.

Maybe one of her girlfriends told her that teaching salaries are too low. She"ll try to come back and settle for you if she can"t hook-up with a moneybag in graduate school.

Yeah, in hindsight it was definitely a "Well no shit Sherlock" thing. Going in I had myself convinced it would be nbd. People have different interests and it"s never really been an issue before. I"ve never dated a girl who was into gaming so it didn"t bother me that she wasn"t either. Her objection was just a little more vitriolic then I was used to.

My attempt to beat it:

I posted about this girl a long time ago. I was seeing this girl. She was a slut from Nicaragua. She lied about her age, about having kids (told me they were her niece and nephew), and about having a brother that she later killed off. She was living with me when I was in med school in the Caribbean (insert Aychamo 3rd world med school jokes here.) She worked a tiny little job while on the island. She always went out without me, staying out all night, etc. A real piece of trash. She came home with me for Christmas, and somehow had thousands of dollars to spend on Christmas presents. I asked how she got the money, and she told me she sold a modeling photo for a magazine. ........... many months later, we are broken up, and I"m hooking up with one of her friends on the island, and the friend told me that the the Nicaragua slut had told her about this guy she knew that you could fuck and he"d pay $1000.

So a girl I was dating was fucking a (at least one) guy for money.
