I could go either way, really. I"ve known some guys that did some things that might have Cam beat. Some people...some people just do stupid things. Repeatedly.
Just for starters: There was a woman who ran in a group, that used to go from barracks to barracks looking for soldiers to
"have a a good time with". This woman started sleeping with one guy, and gave him scabies. However, guy #2, who was horny, took advantage of this woman making a pass at him (while still sleeping with and seeing guy #1) even though he KNEW that she was sleeping with guy #1 and KNEW that it was likely that she was the source of the scabies. And over a period of a couple of months, she ended up giving MULTIPLE guys scabies to the point that the entire barracks was forced to turn in their linens and sanitize their bunks because dumb motherfuckers KEPT SLEEPING WITH HER, EVEN THOUGH THIS ALL BECAME COMMON KNOWLEDGE.
And the crazy part? It gets better. THIS DUDE MARRIED HER. That"s right, after she passed herself around the scuzzbags of the barracks, after she "dated" multiple guys and then slept with their friends, after she passed scabies to about 10 different guys, he married her. MARRIED. And this woman (I shudder to think of her as such) was unattractive overall. She honest to God had no redeeming physical characteristics, unless you count being a whore. I saw her once stumbling in the hallway drunk and, after having her proposition me, I promptly did a 180, went back to my room, locked the door, and opened a bottle of Scotch.
This guy became a fount of WTF stories, much like Cam. He was completely fucking clueless, much like Cam. I remember going to the field for a few weeks (picture camping for long periods of time, but in the military) and hearing him talk about how he had to lay down the law about her NOT taking his car for a spin, like she had done the LAST time we went out for training. A few days later, I get tasked to drive a hemmtt filled with scrap metal for turn in, and I drive right past her...driving his car...with a bunch of other dipshits in it...on post...while he was stuck in the field. Of course I tell him about it, he digs into it when he gets back - turns out she was throwing nonstop parties while he was gone, had access to his bank account and drained it while partying, and essentially threw an orgy for fugly people in his living room (multiple times iirc)...and he still stayed married to her. And the hilarity/sadness continued on long past that point as well.
I don"t feel sorry for Cam in the least. He does this stuff to himself, and it"s in his own power to do different. I wouldn"t be surprised of Cam embellishes to the nines, but I don"t think that this kind of stupid stuff is outside of the realm of reality simply because it"s....stupid. There simply are a lot of dumb people out there, or people that think with their cocks and their cocks only.
