Didn't we already discuss this last year? Barren islands. So few men. It never made sense. Very few things in season 6 and 7 have made sense. The show has literally spun out of control. I'm just waiting for Bran to go full autistic mode, travel to the past, and reveal himself as Bran the Builder. and we find out the Long Night of legend is actually the Long Night of the present.. because you know, time is a closed loop or whatever.

God this shit bottomed out fast.

Yeah, and also this year, but Olebass likes to post the same shit over and over.

I have heard people speculating that Euron has some sort of sea devil magic powers and that's why he's able to just show up out of nowhere but they haven't really shown us anything to support that.

Denaut actually has a great point. They could of explored his whole bloodmagic/darkmagic shit more, giving his feats more "realism" and making him further interesting. Not only that but they seemed to have merged him with Victarion, so I dont know why they didnt go down that path more.

It was a new article about specifics with comments from a expert. Look on the bright side though. Tomorrow we will begin dicussing STD's of Game of Thrones and if what actors bring on the set is the same as the fantasy world.

I'd take an STD if it meant I could fuck Nathalie Emmanuel.

Can you imagine if they would have cast Sheen as Euron. They could have included tigers hooked up to IV's on his ship and have him end his conversation with Jamie with "winning".

This is my lone breaking gripe of all of the nitpicks that have been posted/talked about (because frankly this one is no nitpick, it's glaring as hell). They killed off Psycho the II in season 6, and they needed a new Ramsey/Joffery, I get it, but they didn't have 2+ seasons for his torture porn. So they rushed out Euron, and it has completely backfired. Personally if they absolutely had to have a new psycho to hate, they should have just used an existing character. But in the end, all of the other wait a minute moments are easy enough to overlook, but this one is just too much, and I know he's going to play a major role in the final battles to come, so it's going to be pretty painful.

On top of it all we had to listen to Yara bitching to her father about his desire to take areas on the mainland for the sake of a few pine cones then has the great idea of building a massive fleet of her own as soon as he died.

Yea, it's stuff like that that annoys me the most about this series. It would be fine if they just totally ignored logistics, raw materials, travel times, etc. but they'll include it as a plot point in one episode and then completely counter and/or ignore the idea in another episode. I don't ask for complete realism in a fantasy story but internal consistency would be nice.

I'm pretty sure Cercei is the new main psycho since she blew up the church. Euron is just her pawn at this point but that could always change.

Well they are doing a terrible job of making Cersei the main psycho since her worst move at this point was killing off the only characters more annoying than Bran at this point. Every fan of the show was happy they died.

Yeah I was thinking of going there, but over 7 seasons they have done a good job of making her a pretty deep character. Yeah, bitch is crazy, and will go full on psycho in a cut your dick off at the first sign of infidelity way, but she also has some "warmer" sides, like her love for her children, that balance her out. She isn't sadistic, she just is ruthless. She has done some Ramsey-esque things though, but unfortunately I kind of sympathized with her on her actions: blowing up the sept to get rid of two very large enemies, even though I liked one of them, getting revenge on the Dorne lady who killed her daughter by forcing her to watch her own daughter get poisoned, and lastly her locking the nun in the room with the mountain. That last one I actually cheered for as I hate the mentality they wrote into that character. I hated what Joffery and Ramsey did, because it felt so unprovoked. Cersei seems to be provoked at least, and in a way her actions can be at least somewhat rationalized.

Right, and that is a point, but again that's one of the smaller things that I can let slide pretty easily.

I dunno, she manipulated her children, despite her love, leading to their deaths and I wouldn't be surprised if she's manipulating Jaime to fight for her at this point. Dorne was just a revenge of a revenge. Sept she murdered hundreds of innocent people, who gives a fuck about my son's feelings? She could still very well turn out to be a complete monster if she intentionally sacrifices Jaime too.

Sir Sea is not a villeen, she is only doing it BECAUSE SHE LOVES HER CHILDREN- JUST THE SAME AS ANY OF US WOULD DO THE SAME THING IN HER SITUATION....RIGHT

Except Jaime stopped being a character people gave a shit about a couple seasons ago. Shame, really, his arc was interesting. Now he's just Cersei's dildo and general. The only thing I'd miss if he died is that he's one of the few characters where the actor's British accent doesn't come through. Though, that could be because he's Danish and that would be harder to pickup.

Nah, not saying she's not a villain at all. Just saying her actions are not without provocation. They are still crazy and evil as fuck, but they aren't just random hey let's chop this dude's dick off for shits and giggles or hey let's take a hooker and shoot her full of crossbow bolts random like they were with the other two. Not going to say I won't go all Saw 3 on some asshole who did anything to hurt my kids though...but I definitely wouldn't say my actions were good natured or moral either.
