Ah I didn't know Ian Whyte played wun wun. He really has the "dress up in an awfully uncomfortable prosthetic suit and then do action scenes" market on lock down.

I can't imagine what scene they're talking about. Nobody would've guessed hardhome was the #1 action scene of the series thus far.

I feel like the scene almost has to be the WW army unveiling things we've only heard about, like giant ice spiders or an ice dragon. It's something that they could have shown a few seasons ago but chose not to for dramaz. Also sounds like something that would make a VFX guy say holy shit, cool. I don't think LSH would garner that kind of statement and nothing else is coming to mind.

yeah a big WW show and tell would make sense.

The other one would be the greyjoys. I remember the scenes introducing Victarion in the book where he's in full plate just smashing people left and right.

People who don't want the books spoiled have already stopped watching the show, they stay in the book thread. people who haven't read the books post here. people who have post in the spoiler thread. nbd.

All this derives from a smug sense of entitlement of the fucking book readers. "i've known whats going to happen for years, deal with it huehuehue" but the second shit starts to happen in the show that is spoiling the books for them they flip their shit and start crying like little girls with skinned knees. They somehow forgot that they are actively engaging in a discussion labeled SPOILERS GoT on the INTERNET and are amazed when shit is spoiled for them? how about you just don't actively go looking for things about the show until after you've watched the episode?

lolwut? This didn't rise up from people bitching about the show spoiling the book. This came from someone posting unaired season finale spoilers. At least one of those things was something that happened in the books but might not have happened in the show. If things like that were always spoiler tagged, there would be no discussion about moving people into this thread, or starting a third(fourth?) thread.

You've known what was going to happen for the first 4 1/2 seasons and you still watched the show, but now that the show/books are being spoiled you are crying about it. you are being a smug entitled twat. (not you specifically Gavin mr hate the books and didn't watch the show until yesterday but still been posting for years, but other people with your same opinion)

Because the spoiler thread was always about discussing spoilers from the book. Casting info is borderline, but unaired episodes are something else entirely. I want a thread where I can discuss the show, maybe get off topic by speculating about the way things happened in the books, without having to run the risk of seeing stills from a leaked episode or seeing half a page or more taken up with spoiler tagged conversation.

If Fedor had posted those screenshots in this thread, people would be absolutely flipping their shit.

Let's see season 4 was the first beyond the wall "oh shit this is where craster's babies are headed"
and season 5 was obviously massive white walker army attack on hardhome.

So yeah the "omg" gfx that they've tried to do for those 2 seasons is probably white walkers riding an ice dragon or ice spiders, or something else beyond the wall related.
