See the problem with that is why would Hotah kill Bronn unless they somehow framed him for the attack on Myrcella? I can't imagine there being anyway that Ellaria would have suborned Hotah away from Doran, and there is no way any of this makes sense unless Jaime dies too. The only way Hotah could be in on it is if Doran is also in on it, but he wants Myrcella alive and unharmed for his son to wed.

That is kinda what I expect to happen. It gets us back to where the book is (Myrcella scarred, the Sand Snakes doing everything they can to start a war). However, if that happens, what does Prince Martell do to ellaria sand? Also, why would Hotah kill Bronn? If the Sand snakes attack Myrcella and company, seems like Hotah if anything would be on the side of the defense.

i would be more upset if they kill bronn than when they killed any other character. In the book who cares, but TV bronn is totally a fan favorite

If this happens (Bronn dies, Myrcella scarred) and then we have a cliffhanger with Jon dead, holy shit this season will have been brutal on characters that people loved, with almost no positive shit at all. Not that this is that unusual I guess. However, ending on this much brutality and no real "up" notes is pretty crazy. Wonder if it will effect the next season. Maybe Sansa's storyline will end on a positive note?

Dany bonding with her dragon is pretty positive, and I assume Sansa will have some kind of something positive happen, and Tyrion finding purpose. But yeah, hell of a downer.

Redemption stories have not been part of the show, I hope somehow they bring that element.

Benjen is a big wtf, most likely shows up at the wall, but you could bring up Bran/Hodor or other crazy theories like Euron.

They sort of did with Jorah this past episode, but I agree that it's not exactly the redemption you're talking about.

The only pseudo-redemption story I could see happening would be if Ser Thorne manages to save Jon.

Well her banishing him makes more sense in the books, because he basically wouldn't apologize or even admit what he did was wrong in the books. Also, in the books she's like 13/14 years old.

But I don't really think banishing him makes her retarded, just rightfully upset because his betrayal resulted in Robert sending assassins after her and her unborn child.

Benjen =pink letter, its what causes "for the wall". maybe he comes back giving word about bran or rickon or maybe he himself needs rescuing and jon tries to gather men for the trek beyond the wall and his men have had enough of it and puts him down near that big weirdwood tree.
no confidence that is any bit true, but i dont think there will be a pink letter so events need to happen in a different way.

It was confirmed, if you want to call it that, by a notes written in the margin of a copy of one of the books between GRRM and the editor. The editor asked if Coldhands was Benjin and GRRM answered "No"

But the show could go a different direction.

Brynden the Bloodraven is very likely to be the Three-eyed crow, and so could not also be Coldhands.

The Night's King was said to be deposed, his name "wiped from the memory of man," which sounds like he was thoroughly destroyed and likely to have been burned if it was known he was consorting with the Others.

Leaf, the child of the forest Bran meets at the cave of the Last Greenseer, says of Coldhands: "They killed him long ago." Will, Waymar Royce and Benjen Stark died/went missing only two years prior, a small amount of time for someone over 200 years old. In an original manuscript, Martin declared that Coldhands was not Benjen Stark.

But as Royal says, show could be different.
