I loved III, but I was quickly turned off by vice city. The colors they chose for the mini map for vice drove me bonkers. Lost touch with franchise after that and haven't played it since. Probably will pick up to play through III again. Hopefully the updated visuals for vice fixed whatever issue my eyes had with the mini map.

If you have not played San Andreas then this rererererererelease might be the thing for you. It is, in my opinion, the best one of the series in terms of characters and that restrained over-the-top style that GTA used to be known for. GTA-V is a great game and if someone else said "It's better than SA" I would not be inclined to disagree. GTA-4 was good but took itself too seriously, once again just my opinion.

I still have to beat SanAndreas on 360. Great game.

Vice City is one of my personal favorites.

game is out in 24 hours digitally, physical in a month. few people have gotten early copies and started streaming and stuff



San Andreas will be on gamepass at release (tomorrow) so good way to see if you like the controls, visuals, audio, etc before you buy. I've already preloaded SA on my xbox, if I like it i'll probably buy on my PS5. On next gen systems it runs at 60 fps, on switch I believe 30 fps.

no shock apparently this is an absolute shit port on the level of that warcraft 3 remaster thing, Rockstar apparently farmed it out to some dev who only does mobile games. Currently sitting at 0.6 (out of 10.0) user rating on metacritic, game has been yanked on PC platforms

if you have an xbox may wanna install the gamepass version of San Andreas just so you can see how fucked it is before they maybe pull it from all platforms or something, haha.

First CDPR puts out a shitty Cyberpunk game and now Rockstar puts out this shit tier port, I wonder why companies that developed such stellar reputations seem to be so willing to throw it all away without any thought.

So it's not just the PC version that is fucked, every platform suffers whether from bugs or performance. I'm still wrapping my head around this nugget -

PS5 that can handle Demon Souls and Returnal, but can't handle GTA III reskin. What an absolute joke these devs are.
