I kind of feel like most rockstar games don’t hold up that well, both in flavor and mechanically.

I stopped playing 4 when I realized the Taxis were instant teleports to your desired location. After noting I hadn’t played 4 or 5, I went back and started 4. I owned it for 360. Just never got played. Wow addiction probably.
Anyway. Planned to mostly zoom story. I’m about 40% done with game. Maybe 60% of story. But man, the missions are infuriating. 10 minute drives. Maybe more if you die and want to restock ammo and armor. Really only been a problem on 3 missions. But I’ve had a couple where I fucked up due to my grasp of the controls. I would rather wipe 10 times on a souls game than deal with the preamble of a failed mission here. Clunky as fuck.
I think I’ve gotten used to checkpoints in games.

lol. So I started doing that. Then I started using the refill everything chest between missions to cut time. Ethical cheating as it were. I did this when I realized you have so much money that calling your buddy for supplies or going to a shop was strictly time sink.I stopped playing 4 when I realized the Taxis were instant teleports to your desired location.
I never touched both RDRs. Got the ps5 versions recently during a sale. But I’ll need to wait on the mood because i feel controls will make me mad.I kind of feel like most rockstar games don’t hold up that well, both in flavor and mechanically.
