Like what? I love minigames as much as anyone but it was such a jarring experience to the rest of the game. Removing the fun of driving from GTA just made me put it down for good.

I expected more arcadey driving though. Every vehicles feels like various agility boats. I dunno. I wanted to feel like a borderline mafia superhero that was a driving savant. So I expected forging driving.

Blah. I gave up on GTA4. I loved the story but frankly hated the gameplay. My memory is VC and SA which I remember being ridiculous. Stopped about the time you hit the faggots quests and about the time you gotta pick someone to kill in the Irish family.

I was probably down to 30% left to do in the story. In reality, my complaints have no great basis if the mission failed for dying. But if it failed for someone escaping I got tired or repeating the whole bullshit. And the cover system got finicky some.

And, as much as GTA 4 has a great story, this is what I missed. I did at least watch the cutscenes of both endings.

I think the only ones I beat were Vice City and 5. San Andreas and 4 just kind of petered out for me. I can't even recall playing 3.

I played VC, SA and Liberty City Dtories on PSP. Now 4. I only finished VC and SA I think. I watched a few videos of VC and it looks so empty now.
