Honestly the romance stuff isnt too shocking, iirc in cyberpunk you had to clearly favor the person you were targeting in conversations or events. if you wanted it. If you went against them in certain parts they would just reject you. If what was said above is true, its just taking it further it seems with more of a rep feature. Maybe part of the make it more realistic like that bullet checklist posted earlier.
But I understand everyone needs to act like the ultra alpha male on the internet.
