Wife said she wanted shepperds pie, just did a google for chef jon

should have left it on the counter for 20mins to "settle", first square fell apart, went for seconds later and it was standing up

If you're going to make shepherd's pie I seriously recommend trying Gordon Ramsay's recipe. It's very easy, and it's bloody delicious.

All it is is a giant God damn hot dog loaf. I don't think I've had Bolognese since I was a kid but it was always one of my favorites. White bread, slice of cheese and some mayonnaise and mustard, honey we're good to go.

Bar I used to go to every Thursday to play team trivia had a fried bologna sandwich on the menu. They would cut pretty thick slices and load up on toasted white bread with American cheese, bologna fried on the flat top with some french fries onion rings or tater tots. Salt City, but it was pretty delicious and I think they only charged like six bucks for the whole basket. Can't beat that especially with $2 beers of any sort.

They meant a pretty mean club sandwich too, and just stacked with a ton of meat and bacon.
I used to work with this old guy when I was young that ate a bologna sandwich every god damn day. I never saw him eat anything else until one day he brought in ribs. Best fucking ribs I'd ever had. Turns out he had been a competitive pit bbq guy for 30 years. The next day he was back to bologna. Asked him why he always ate it, and he said bologna was his favorite meat.

Sometimes you know what you like.

Hey you like what you like. I saw an interview with David Lynch and apparently he always ate like chicken salad and steamed broccoli everyday, I mean that's a pretty retarded ass combination of food but he did it because he didn't have to think about it so we could concentrate on his wacky movies

Maybe the dude you knew was doing something similar to where he could sit there and focus on making the greatest ribs ever, because he didn't have to fuck around with making bologna sandwiches.

I have the same issue with cold sandwiches. My mom would buy generic white bread, spread some generic miracle whip on it, and then buy those little packets of 3 micron thick cold cuts that light literally shines through and are meant to be used with like 10 slices on one sandwich and put one or maybe two slices on it and call that a sandwich. I distinctly remember overhearing her ranting on the phone once that "putting meat and cheese on the same sandwich is like 2 sandwiches!". She still thinks if she buys those blister pack cold cuts that are 1/16" thick that's "really nice" sandwich meat.

She's a decent cook and a good baker but makes utterly terrible sandwiches and because of that when I think about having a cold sandwich it gives me a kind of "yuck" feeling even though I know that a decently made cold sandwich can be delicious.
lol man same here.. my ptsd with sandwiches was so bad it wasn’t until I met my wife when she was like “you know we can just buy more cold cuts, you don’t have to ration them one slice at a time….” Now big, meaty sandwiches are a regular occurrence but I still feel extravagant using too much.

Apparently this gift came up within the search for just Gordon, and I'm sorry I couldn't help myself but I had to Lincoln but I completely agree with you. I'm not in control of the algorithm, I don't know how to make a shepherds or cottage pie, and mine will crush the Oriental on our forum who tried to make it and just shit the bed.

Maybe we should have a shepherd's pie battle, because I'm ready to throw down.
