That's kinda cool, also serves to make sure that people who get in beta are the people actually playing the game.

Specialization AMA Livestream Notes : Guildwars2

Or on dulfy, but she's updating the reddit post first it seems.

http://dulfy.net/2015/04/24/gw2-spec...estream-notes/

Wtf to some of the engineer changes, mesmer and necro changes kinda lacking.
Are they changing the fact that your specialization felt like it contributed very little to your total power ? Just skimming the notes it seems like they are doing some reshuffling without much else. Like, how many skill acquisition methods have they gone through without addressing the fact that there is very little incentive to do them since most of them behave similarly ?

I would think even if the specialization changes don't overall boost anybodies power directly the removing of the attributes linked to the lines will still allow for better diversity before where some had some good powers but gimped you stat wise for taking them.

Mesmer specialisation. The chronomancer.

Say Hello to the Chronomancer - Mesmer's Elite Specilization : Guildwars2

It sound badass. I like how they really really play with time.

"When the chronomancer activates Continuum Split, they sacrifice all of their illusions to split themselves off from the normal flow of time for a duration that scales with the number of illusions shattered. When this duration is over, or when the mesmer activates the follow-up skill Continuum Shift, they revert back to the location where the skill was first activated.

Here?s where things get fun. Shifting back to the original timeline reverts the chronomancer?s health, endurance, and all cooldowns (yes, even the elite skill) back to the state they were in when the shatter was first activated.

Unfortunately those class changes mean nothing to me by reading them since I havn't played in so long. I have no idea what's different outside of "everything". Could anyone put them in context for me?

Before you could only do trait build with 2 lines maxed out. Now you can get full 3 line maxed up and get 3 grandmaster tier traits. That will open up builds options. They also remove the base stats gained from traits and buffing those you get by leveling and on gears.

There is a lot more than that but this will break the balance next week. I expect chaos

So i'm 65 and chugging through levels at a pretty good rate. What are things I can do solo or items to farm etc.. Currently I'm just rolling through the areas completing hearts and unlocking way points while hitting up level doable daily world bosses. Its pretty impressive how good the game looks and the size of some of the bosses. My biggest complaint is the game needs a damn particle effects slider/show mine only setting.

They are changing the condi damage from stats also. You will have to invest heavily into condi damage even more now. I know that some class are getting better at condi cleaning.

You must keep in mind those change will eventually lead to the specialization. It might not make any sense right now but will eventually with the expansion... hopefully...

Is there a good summary anywhere for those of us who played when GW2 came out, but haven't for a long time? And is this something I should be interested in again? The new SWTOR expansion has piqued my interest, but I assume this expansion will be out a lot sooner.
