Got my JDS Atom 2 stack set up today. Put it in the bedroom for some relaxation. Love it. Sounds fantastic and I even prefer it for some things over my old Schiit 3 stack. American made, absolutely exceptional customer service. Free engraving.

I have no experience with other plants but I can say I love my Anandas. They don't seem to have as much treble issues as a lot of other Hifiman models reportedly have. I think it's a great entry way to planar's.

i got these 2/3 weeks ago when i upgraded my phone to s26. i have had the buds2pro for a few years, these are a huge improvement. sounds crisper (i guess) the biggest improvement is the anc, i had brought both on a few planes w/ me to test out, it's really night and day. i've seen reviews that the airpods 3pro anc is one of the best and these are just about the same (i used my wifes too)
it does drain battery 30% more imo, i could go days w/ the buds2 and not worry, these are like a day and half, which is still great.
is there a particular reason to go w/ these? for me i had used the previous ones and now that i have a samsung again, i want to keep the eco system. little stupid shit like the app/settings is now built into the ui and i can charge the earphones w/ my phone in a pinch

So I got a pair of those HiFiMan Sundara today since they were so cheap. I had been considering buying the Arya Organics, but was reluctant to due not being to hear them prior to the buy. I've been switching back and forth between two other headsets for the past hour or so, listening to the same songs at the same volume levels. Its impressive how different each of them sounds, and also annoying, lol.
Sony Pulse 3D; closed back, so its sound by default is totally different. That being said, it has a smooth response, but with what seems to be a boosted low end either by design or due to being closed back. The "soundstage" for these is small compared to the others, but that doesn't really matter too much as the sound is really clean. The biggest negative with these is that being closed back has them pick up every little head movement / cord movement.
Sennheiser HD599; have had these for many years now, compared to the other two it has a pronounced bump in the mids.
Sundara; still really new to my ears, but being open back they sound much different than the Pulse 3D's (both planar). Not nearly as strong of a bass sound as the Pulse, but more detail / depth to the lows than with the 599's, overall it sounds flat but with solid low end. Reminds me a bit of a pair of Sony MDR-somethings I had like 20yrs ago.

Waaaay too much effort, though I think the Sundara would benefit from a bit of tweaking.

I have nothing but issues with bluetooth devices on Windows 11. It's an incredibly frustrating experience that I didn't have with windows 10.
