If there was a specific cause for my symptoms then there would be a potential cure. Instead my increasingly bothersome memory issues are apparently just age and the tinnitus/nascent migraines are who the fuck knows.

Prescribed medicine does fuck all to prevent it or stop it once it has started.

Had to go to ER for pneumonia the other day and started AFIBing while I was there. they injected liquid metoprolol into my system and that still wouldnt stop it.

I feel utterly fucking hopeless. I ripped out a chunk of my hair today. I get frustrated at times and slam my fist into my heart in a vain attempt to stop this shit.

This is easily the worst thing that has ever happened to me.

Asked for ablation back in July, and cardiologist wouldnt sign off on it. seeing new cardiologist Tuesday and hopefully they'll feel differently

Finally got some progress.

second cardiologist unfortunately couldn’t do anything for me but told me I could go to a more specialized department: electrocardio therapy

both the electrocardiologist and my general practitioner were baffled as to why I wasn’t sent there back in July when the first cardiologist denied my request for ablation. He ended up recommending me for the procedure after I told him all that’s been going on back at the beginning of November

I’m going to have the ablation done tomorrow around 12 noon PST.

In the meantime, he prescribed me a new drug called flecainide. It actually stops AFIB incidents in its tracks. All I could think about as he told me about this drug

You mean to tell me there was a drug that could have shut it off, along with my stress, that could have been recommended to me months ago?
