There's a guy I golf with like that, the dude is 83 and still walks and carries his bag for 18 holes. And if you ever met him, you would be shocked to find out how old he is. He looks like he's in his 60s. Coincidentally he and his wife are big skiers. Maybe there's something to that sport.

Welp, doctor can't see me until Monday so now I get to be a slave to my thoughts all weekend.

I would bet you good money that man put in time at the gym strength and mobility training. I'm not quite 50 but all the guys I play ball with are falling into 2 camps... the guys who just play sports/do activities and the guys who train for fitness and also play sports. The fitness guys are all still playing after 2 hours, the sports guys their backs hurt, their shoulders hurt, their knees hurt...

Being an unhealthy 80 year old who has to use a walker to move and c has had serious issues the past 30 years isn't something I would wish on my enemies.

I got diagnosed first via just general exam but they had to put the dye in me to really check the vessels. That sucked ass

It's been a long time ago but the first time I had the exam they do with dye I passed out cold turkey in milliseconds. All they had asked was I allergic to shelfish. I was born in Louisiana, umm nope. It was like the dye was refrigerated and super cold. I never went back to that doctor and never had the issue again. Let me tell you when you instantly go out and wake up to the doctor and a nurse picking up your legs kinda throws you for a loop and I let them know how I felt. Like verbal communication was a lost art suddenly with them. Never said a word until I was able to stand up and walk out.

They told me if I felt any itchiness to immediately tell them so they could stop, so I totally get this
