There is nothing confusing at all, and there are no shenanigans. This isn't complicated or confusing. 16 people from every season for like the 4 or 5 seasons they had announced qualified. They got points based on rank. It was always 16, so if there was someone top 16 a second time the 17th would get in, etc. People from select tournaments (announced in advance, not after it was done) also qualified. All these people who qualified then had a tournament to see who the top 16 in the region are (see first twitch link). The top 16 then had another tournament to see who the top 4 are that qualified to go to Blizzcon (see second link). Then the top players from the regions are playing at blizzcon (see twitch currently playing).

I don't know why this is hard or confusing you.

And that is in total contradiction to what Master typed, He clearly said there was seeding as well off some of the majors.

You yourself don't even know how many seasons they even picked from.. If you did you wouldn't keep saying 4-5...

Also please explain to me how Blizzard determines smurf or double qualifying accounts. There is absolutely no way to prove this at all. What is keeping any player from putting in a teamate off another qualifying ladder account..

Maybe you still don't comprehend why qualifying off a ladder should never happen. It was retarded in WOW, and it's retarded in Hearthstone. There were plenty of majors this year for them to select seeds from.

Not to mention this shit has been in the blizzard launcher before any qualifying event even began so if you don't know how people got where we are today why the fuck are you so concerned. It is not as if it has been hidden, it literally has been right there before you even launch the game this entire time.

Yet they changed it by picking qualifying players off some of the majors. Where is that on your patcher?

Blizzcon 1 was totally corrupt, this one is more fair but needs to change off the ladder completely.
There is enough tournaments throughout the year to make this a non issue.

Blizzard could check IP logs. But nothing much I guess, assuming you wanted to cheat and risk both of you being disqualified if anyone found out. Personally with 100k on the line I wouldn't do that. As for determining double qualifying accounts, they merged B.Net accounts for HS. When you're at the B.Net frontend there is a drop down menu to pick your server. Kolento uses the same B.Net account to play on EU, Asia, and NA. He got #1 in each region one season. He didn't qualify three times as a result, he had to pick. They used multiple methods of seeding, that isn't a contradiction....

You could just read the Wiki article. That would probably be simpler.

Master they've cheated live on stream in front of 1000's of viewers you don't think they wont manipulate the ladder.

I think you are confusing the point. I know how it works after reading some info after my first post.

The ladder is the problem, and something Blizzard ,even in your own words, did not abide by since they took qualifying players from some majors.

Just throw away the ladder, and problem solved. It has no point being in the tournament setting anyway since it is a totally different game to begin with.

Letting players qualify in multiple ways isn't "not abiding." They made the rules, one of the rules was they'd have multiple ways of qualifying. Ladder was one. Major tournaments, which were specified in advance, were another. This is really simple.

So you agree with the Ladder system then?

Ill just write what Ill believe your next response will be, it doesn't matter what I think because it's Blizzards tournament.

If they continue to seed/qualify like that I can guarantee they won't be the number 1 tournament anymore.

It's happened already in other esports like fighting games where the company's tournament is not the top tournament of the year.
And lets be frank 100k is chump change, I've seen bigger COD tournament payouts, and they don't even have a quarter of the players Hearthstone has.

It's not that people are tattletales. It's you devolve into an insufferable asshole. It's not the forum's problem if you can't understand the tournament format.

I mean this quote says it all:

Blizzcon 1 was totally corrupt
It was an invitational exhibition.

I like how you are using Soygens owns words now haha, and coming from you Dtrym since you are the expert when it comes to being an asshole.

Blizzcon 1 had people in it that had no business playing in that exhibition.

Who else from my fan club is the next to show up in this thread. I like how you all gather, and talked about me for 3 pages after the ban. Ever wonder why it's the same people everytime. I don't =)

Because most of us don't take the time to talk to you anymore
Doesn't seem like you can quit to be honest, or you would have me on ignore years ago.

Can we gather all the fan club now? so we can get it all out of the way. Then I can discuss Hearthstone again with the people that were in the discussion itself...

Fine. Let's discuss. You asserted that the Hearthstone Innkeeper's Invitational was corrupt. Here's Blizzards announcement from 2013:

Some dedicated members of the Hearthstone community have been bestowed the honor of showing you just a taste of what competitive card-slinging is all about in our featured one-time Hearthstone BlizzCon exhibition tournament: The Innkeeper?s Invitational!

The idea behind the Invitational is simple: Take some of Hearthstone?s most passionate players and pit them against each other in a no-holds-barred deathmatch
What was 'corrupt' about it? I am starting here because you are insinuating that this year's tournament and qualifying system contain 'shenanigans'.

Because Reckful didnt have people play his account off stream on the ladder.

He still does it till this day, passionate players my ass.
That shit was a popularity contest. There were plenty of legit players that wanted in on that were denied. There was a huge controversy when the players were announced.

I can understand how you know nothing of ladder manipulation, and how easy it would be to qualify friends into a qualifying tournament on separate accounts. Because let's face it you don't play this game, you are here just for me.

Bring up one post in this thread where you analyze Hearthstone at all, make a comment on anything that is going on in it, or give any insightful strategies. Please Drtym, prove me wrong =)

He got pretty unlucky three games in a row, was kinda painful to watch. Also the shoddy view/camera work is getting annoying
