I'm with TA on this one. If it were a 3 mana 2/3 or something then I could see places for it but a 1/2 in the 2-drop slot just isn't good enough. It's way too early to guarantee effectiveness and frankly, just isn't that special.
Now, it might see use just because we can't run five abusives and probably *will* see use in some shaman deck I haven't thought about yet but the card itself really isn't doing much.

One shortcoming of Lance Bearer is that it's friendly minion only. So can't combo him with BGH or SW

Lance Bearer is shit. Seriously? Like Gavin said, it's mediocre. It's true that if it worked on any minions it would be a tiny bit better to put something in BGH/SW
range, but even then, it's still pretty meh. If it was a 2 mana 2/2 then it would be very good, but as a 1/2 it's pretty crap. There is no way that it could make the cut vs. all the other 2 drops out there.
I am interested to see what happens with Astral Communion. I am assuming you cast it and then have 10 full mana crystals, since that's the way Innervate works on turn 10 if you've already spent 2 mana crystals. If there were more Acolyte of Pain type minions, it would have a shit ton of potential. I don't think it's very good though, it's too gimmicky, but who knows, we might see something interesting come from it.

and right as im on the verge of having the board locked down with taunts, this faggot patron goes coin warsong patron inner rage inner rage hit with deaths bite and clears my board. And the reason I'm so fucking mad right now is because this faggot bullshit won't be nerfed until october at the soonest.

Hunter is stupid and needs addressed too. But I think the way to address hunter is with viable anti-aggro cards. Unfortunately we haven't seen anything from the tournament yet.
