Lost Vikings will be another playable character. They were an old console video game by Blizzard back when they were a console developer.

There were quite a few in the team portrait. Sylvannas, Rexxar, Butcher, Blademaster (or maybe a Troll, dunno) were the ones I saw.
Heroes panel starting up. I'll post any groundbreaking news but not sure how much they'll talk about that we don't already know.
Start at 5 PST. But I'm honestly not sure how good these games will be. Fnatic is nothing but personalities. C9 is good players but newly formed. I'm imaging the finals will be TL vs EG which should be good games.

No bans. Light draft. Team 1 gets first pick, Team 2 gets next 2 picks.
Two leagues: individual and team. (no shock here)
Similar to Hearthstone ranking. Start at 50 want to achieve 1. Winning gains points, losing loses points. Point game sorta like SC2 where if you play above your level you get more points blah blah blah
Seasonal play like HS and SC2 but seed your rank based upon old season like SC2 (ie: the play 1 placement)

Can be part of 3 different teams
Ranked for solo (or less than 5):
Tries to match you against similar parties (ie: you queued as 4, you get matched up against a 4)
Fills you with similar MMR players
Must be plvl 30
Data shows that pre-mades do have a higher chance to win but it isn't as overwhelming as many people think

God they're refusing to get rid of talent gating still. I won't say it is ruining the game but it is extremely hindering my enjoyment and ability to play multiple heroes.
What's the logic for keeping it? Having access to the right talents right away significantly increases the strength of the hero... seems dumb to gate it for the 3-4 matches you need.
Their idea is to ease people into the hero. Which makes sense in theory but not at all in execution. I can figure out the hero in one game I don't need to play 4 coop games to figure him out.

I was incorrect the YouTube personalities matches start at 5 PST. The actual matches start at 7 PST.
Before the stream cut out apparently they showed models for Skeleton King, Butcher and Crusader heroes

It kinda sounded like nothing was close to done yet as far as the art assets for everything we saw today goes. It sounded like it all had to be pulled from the artists cold, dead hands to show off today.
Nah Jaina is pretty much sealed up. She is releasing soon-ish then beta and ranked mode are supposed to be at the same time (Jan 13) with Thrall as well.
Wow, viewer numbers are really bad... also hadn't realized until today how many washed up SC2 players are on these teams.
