I have a source but its to a hard core porn website forum and its a decade old. The wage scale has changed a lot in that decade because the demand has changed a lot in that decade for the stuff. The advent of the Tumblr age has made transgender stuff less taboo overall, so there's higher demand than there once was.

The way the industry works is not the way we work out here in the real world.
If you present as a female in the porn industry, and do female roles, you get paid comparable female wages.
That's the thing. The only thing anyone has to go on is what the porn stars themselves report. There haven't been any major studies done on the subject that I'm aware of.
Tranny porn stars say they make wages comparable to females in the industry.
The only thing we can look at is the pay rates for females. They tend to get like 1000 bucks a shoot with a dude, they charge like an extra 100 bucks per guy, anal nets another 300 or some odd, etc. Less if they're new or amateurs, more if they're popular, well known, etc.
Shemales in the industry are treated like females, so that's probably why its hard to find anything specific about shemales. They're lumped in with the female rates.
