I have a Huskey (chinesium) from Home Cheapo. Its 1200 lumen rechargeable thats great. It has adjustable beam and the thing thats nice is that its rechargeable by USB C. But in a pinch it came with a battery pack thingie that you put like 3-4 AAA. It can also charge your device when in a pinch. Not sure how much it would charge it but its there if you need it. Anything with 1200+lumens and a "CREE" bulb is the ticket.

Costco had a good one last time I was there. Dont remember the make or model but it was pretty cheap, bigger than the huskey and im assuming even more lumens. I think its this one...

Plus you could hit someone over the head with this thing in a pinch too, lol.

Mass produced Chinese flashlights are really fucking good now. I don't think there's much point in spending a lot of money on them. I think the lumen ratings are kind of bullshit, but if it says some outrageous number on it, you can probably rest assured that it's going to be almost shockingly bright. I don't know how a little AA powered flashlight can be as bright as the giant spotlights we had back in the day that would set your car seat on fire if you set it down but they are.

On the other hand, if you're a tool whore like me, anything made by Olight is going to be solid.

Wish I could remember more details about the one I had that stopped working. It was basically a handheld floodlight, probably like 12000 lumens. All I know is I could light up the far side of a river that's roughly 200 feet wide. Used it to patrol said river a few years ago when I kept hearing weird screeching noises and thought someone was fucking about with wildlife. After a couple of incidents, I managed to find the culprit and it was... raccoons loudly mating.

Regardless, the floodlight in question was probably about as powerful as a helicopter spotlight. It was absolutely nuts. It also had a "lantern mode" where the sides would light up enough to be like a normal room light (good for a tent), another mode that made it flash in SOS code, and another mode that flashed red and blue like police lights. Not sure what I could use the last one for, but the other modes were all useful.

Ive even gotten some shipped direct from china a while back. (I like my flashlights) and they are all pretty decent, really cheap, like $6-$20 but they take like a month or two to get here.
