Anyone have advice on buying flashlights?

I got an extremely powerful floodlight back in 2020 that just died off after several years (with minimal use, no less). I need to replace the big floodlight I had, and I'd like to also get two smaller flashlights that are powerful enough to cut through darkness. The one I had could light up the far side of a river (about 200 ft) with ease and I want something at least that powerful again. I'll take any suggestions on a brand to go with, or even just what amount of lumens to shoot for.
Project farm for all these kinds of questions.

Those claimed vs. measured lumen ratings on the cheap lights are pretty hilarious.

Does anyone really want all those modes? I would actually pay more for a flashlight that didn't have epilepsy mode but it seems like they all have it. Who actually wants their flashlight to do that? The SOS mode is even more stupid. Even if you did happen to find a rescuer that knows Morse code, do you really think they're going to change whether they're going to investigate because of the pattern the light is blinking? It wouldn't matter if they didn't require you to cycle through them or have them come on by accident all the time but they do. They're making their product worse, not better with this nonsense.

Lights that are marketed to mountain bikers are also robust and have used my niterider hard since 2017. I use them on a gopro mount style tripod as needed for work sometimes as well. They also make killer headlamps.

Hot water is all set. Mixing valve was basically seized up and gummed up inside, so it really wasn't sending already hot water up. It was compounded because the boiler had the right temp so it wouldn't fire.

He replaced it all for 400 and it works so I can't complain.

Buy a good chain saw for like $300 and go to town. You will have that tree branch broken down into firewood in a few hours.
I recommend going a little ham and getting a bestly 2 stroke like Husqvarna 455 Rancher
Bought mine use ago it just sits and sits...until it doesn't then it starts right up and destroys everything. Earplugs a must.

Electric ones have come a long way as well.

Tree is gone. Patching tent!

The fence miraculously is just one panel. 300 bucks. BUT I decided on a gate. The neighbors wont have to walk the whole block to get to my yard. Just waiting on them to get home to confirm it's OK.
