Yeah exactly. I don't think it actually still has the smell because my garden hoses are direct from the well and I don't smell anything from them but it definitely did back then.
Yeah some places around my state are exactly like this. Bad sulfur smell thats almost gag worthy. Shit, just driving and stopping at rest stops, some of them just stink of that smell. I mean I guess you get used to it eventually but damn.

Me & the then girlfriend drove to Disney world and stopped somewhere in south GA overnight. The water at the hotel stank of sulfur so bad. I would hate living somewhere like that. Parts of NC/SC have arsenic levels that are naturally occurring in water.

when i was growing up a very small community maybe a few dozen homes had a dam and a pond that covered many acres. don't remember what happened but the whole pond turned a yellow-green color from sulfur. the smell was so bad.

It's funny, that Craftsman ratchet in his demo appears to work and then he starts half-assing it. Now I want that Craftsman ratchet. The YouTube comments have a bunch of people saying the same thing. He should have just done the demo with a 100 tooth Snap-On Cynergy ratchet or something with a swing arc guaranteed to fail.

got the 1/2 overdrive ratchet from craftsman as a replacement for a broken one got from my neighbor. it seems pretty good, but not done anything demanding yet.

basic gearless tech has been around for very long time. have never used any, but seems like with most designs back drag is an issue and very annoying in situations where access is limited.
