No official U.S. release date yet, but it currently looks like NEON is aiming for a September or October 2026 theatrical release. The film has already generated massive buzz out of Cannes, especially since it is Na Hong-jin’s first directed feature since The Wailing.

I really liked The Wailing, so this one is definitely on the list.

Wow. This looks like something I actually want to watch, as opposed to 99% of shit released these days. I will have to check out that The Wailing if you guys liked it. I eagerly await the update by kroenen saying this is out on streaming/torrents!

Also, chick cop, yes please!

Not out on torrents yet, but looking like something I'd check out. The special effects I've heard look a little cheesy but still a solid watch.

Domestic trailer for the South Korean theatrical release July 15. Contains creature reveals, so avoid it if you want to go in blind.

I love how Alicia Vikander and Michael Fassbender are playing in this as the monsters. I wonder how that conversation went. Hey Honey I have this idea for both of us to be in the same film together...

Saw the movie in Korea. 4/10 haven't seen any other movies by the director so no idea how his other movies play out, but this was awful. Probably would've walked out about halfway into the movie if I wasn't with a friend. CG sucks, 2:40 long probably could've cut about 40 minutes from the movie. There were points where the audience laughed cause the scene was so dumb, not cause it was funny.

Was it really that bad?

I mean I guess I have a different tolerance for Korean horror movies because at least most of the time they're doing something just radically different, which is why I go out on my way to check them out, but if it really does suck that's disappointing. I'm honestly looking forward to this, which I can't say much about American Cinema nowadays other than the independent stuff and the shark movies kroenen kroenen has been posting lately.

Opening scene is like an hour long action scene similar to 1917 kinda cool but i think dragged on far too long. Maybe im too cynical for action movies at my age. Feels like 1/3 of the movie is them just driving and pointlessly shooting at the monster.
