The first part I actually enjoyed quite a bit. Then I zoned out because the middle was just bad. And when the last act hit it was a big wtf an I watching?

One of (the many) a worst things about this movie is there is zero respect for scale. The creature(s) are shown running at hyper speed through the woods yet somehow still take 10 minutes to get from A > Z while chasing someone or racing to something. All the scenes in the woods are like this as well as the car chase at the end.

Took two nights to finish bc the middle drug on for so long. What a strange/bad movie. I’m guessing it is some start to a series, based on the ending?

yes, supposely the plan was/is for a trilogy, first from human pov, 2nd from aliens, third is resolution iirc (not sure i remember). I watched it lately, and maybe is my hunger from scifi but i didnt hate it alot. First part sucked, 2nd part with the alien confrontation in the wood sucked a bit less. Acting was good from korean pov but i dislike that comic and exagerated sounds or expression they use on most of their products.

I really would not mind a 2nd movie to explain alien wars they having in the space etc....but ya thats me. I starved so bad for decent alien/space type scifi movies, that am kinda forced to justify myself this lol.

I kind of liked it. It had its problems, but overall I was entertained. It was maybe 30 minutes too long, because at one point I was like, how the fuck are they going to end this soon, only to see there was still 45 minutes left.

I liked the cop chick, she was oddly attractive and endearing, and not really a gurl boss or anything, just moderately more competent than anyone else.

Pretty interesting how Korean culture is so different from Western though. The people in that town that aren't the police are pretty rough, and not that smart. Sort of like a group of slack-jawed hillbillies here in the US, except the entire town was like that. I'm not sure there were many IQs over 90 in evidence.
