I swear some of you are incapable of using the internet. In order for a lot of things to work here you should learn how to use imgur. This will be better for you and for your family. Your posts will be cleaner and you will be able to send things to friends via email or facebook or whatever without looking like a moron.
So first we will look at an album.
You know it is an album because it has /a/ in the URL. This means it has more than one picture in it, this one has two. There is a button on your toolbar that looks like movie film and if you hover over it the popup says media. Click that and paste an /a/ URL into it and you will see the imgur box around it that will let you scroll through the album.
This is what it looks like.
Now we will select a picture to attach. This is important to do because when we enable attachments you are going to be able to do this and it will go out and grab the picture and attach it for you and edit your post to have the attachment instead of the hotlink. As long as you do it right.
Okay here is a picture I want to share with you guys. I right click it and select the option that says Copy image address.

This is in Chrome but your browser will say something similar. You will get a link like this.
Notice three things it will say i.imgur and there is no /a/ and finally it has a filetype.
Next to the media button is an icon that looks like a picture, hit that and put this link into it and it will look like this.
Now you can also put it into the media box as well and certain websites will have special borders or whatever, imgur won't work with still pictures and the media box but it does with gif/gifv/webm/mp4.
This is what that looks like when I use the following URL.
If it doesn't end in a filename or have /a/ for album you will get nowhere with it for any kind of embedding. If you do somehow then great for you but it probably won't work.
