160 tower and 8-5 campaign, imagine it's mostly getting a 6 star and lucky on prophet changing mirage into ormus or something good

Oh yeah, 160 is retarded, still stuck on that myself. I imagine I either need some 6 stars or an OD-01. 8-5 I don’t remember, but yeah it’s probably healing.

They don't increase odds, but I'd not spend them unless there's a hero on the wheel you want (You only have 0.55% chance of getting it, but you can. I've gotten 2 that way, both Rosas).

The tower is something you're not going to beat, you're just going to slowly advance over time. As you get stronger, and stronger you'll tackle it. Campaign is the same way.
Event Raids, make sure you do all 3 of them. I'd not buy any extras, but once you get the top end one for the puzzle pieces (I think at level 165 so its a LONG way away) then it's worth buying. But until then, forge ahead a little at a time.
Also, make sure you update your gem as you can. Fusion events give a lot of dust, which is extremely helpful. I find that Crit/Crit damage is the best for most heroes, others ATK/ATK % works better. It depends, but all my heroes have 3 types of gems only, Crit/Crit damage, ATK/ATK %, and HP/HP%.
You could try to make do with an aura, but you don't have anything good light wise other than fegan, the 4 star. The rainbow aura (Fegan, DF, Norma, Faceless, Aidan, DS or Lutz) might help, but I doubt it. Sometimes you're just going to be stuck and have to do the daily grind until you can make some new 5 stars from fusion (though for F2P or low payers, I'd recommend not doing any fusions except during the event).
The tower levels get ridiculous though. I'm stuck on 479, which is really hard, but I'm way further than anyone else on my server (And I think the best in the game on android, I think me and one other are stuck on 479, and on iOS there's this guy who's spent god knows how much and he's on 485). There are many "stuck" levels, which you can usually tell looking at the list of top players in tower, there are several stuck on the same level, etc.

Get used to those, there are LOTS of those! lol. But they did nerf them, oddly enough. They are way easier today than they used to be. The levels divisible by 5 give way better rewards, but it does get hard.
Here's some of my fights in the 450 block.
The earliest tower level I have recorded is 380. You can tell the massive increase in power from 380 to 450.

Just beat 160 earlier today, nothing really changed other than I had 5 of the yellow artifacts maxed out against priests and my monster has been upgraded a few times.
Now on 175 which is Margaret, doesn’t seem nearly as bad though. Was close to winning the few times I tried, some good RNG should push me past

The hard part of Margaret, at the later levels, is her poison is fucking awful, and if you die from her poison after you kill all of them, you still lose.
(384 tower was the hardest level I ever had to pass, I think I was stuck on it for like 2 months)

Oh her poison is still a bitch at lower levels. Has been a couple of times where all that was left was akasha with her life bar barely visible and then i die to the poison.

Should I spend Guild tokens to grab ormus? I got Queen already and ormus seems like the only decent selection from there. If not him what do I spend the tokens on? Just Guild tech?
Also Guild tech I assume only boosts characters against the raid mobs? I don't get increased stats outside during the campaign correct?

Guild tech works everywhere. Well, except for dodge which only seems to work in pvp.
For the guild coins, Ormus and Queen are both good. If you have enough other heroes you could grab another Queen to make 6 star instead of Ormus. But after those two pretty much nothing else worth it in the shop, just use for guild tech.
For brave trial tokens, just buy monster mats. Everything else is super overpriced

Nooooooooooo dont get gerke. Use them only on monster souls (the 1500 one for 500 souls). Nothing else until you have at least 2 maxes monsters. DONT buy the 2,400 one and DONT buy 5 star shards IMO.
Gerke is awesome, but if Light/Dark is ever going to be viable for you, you're going to be spending money.
If you have an interest in dropping $5,000+ you'll get some gerkes anyway.

Ormus is fantastic and I think its a good use of guild tokens HOWEVER, he's not really all that hard to get either, and guild tech works wonders. If you want exercise in patience, I'd recommend aiming for ormus through switch hero in prophet tree, or from a 5 star shard pack from fortress (Ormus can be awarded from those, I think its a ~5% chance).
Guild tech works everywhere like Ritley says. Additionally, despite needing to be in a guild to use it, you don't ever lose it if you switch guilds.

I passed 479 last night in tower. This shit took me over a month. That is the most difficult floor I've had to pass. 480-484 were a cakewalk in comparison (485 is hard but its going to be easier than 479).
The ONLY reason I won this was pure luck. Flame strikes both live throughout, and were stunned at the start (which is good because other heroes die thus boosting FS attack greatly - she gets like +20% crit damage and +13% crit chance per dead hero on your team). Asmodal had a monsterous hit at the start, and after all of the Michelles were full energy, both my Flame Strikes had full energy because of the stun, and because of the dead heroes landed monster hits as such to put them down before they could use their specials. They re-rezzed, but the Flame Strikes could attack again with monsterous damage before the Michelles got full energy again. That shit was the stars aligning perfectly. So much damage needed for that level.
With this, I think I'm the furthest in the tower in the entire game on Android. Not sure about iOS.

Damn dude, nice. I’m sitting here all happy I’m in the 190s now. I was watching that and Around the point where you kill them the first time I’m like no way will you win.
Events seem alright, won’t get the das moge because no light or dark heroes, but should get the casino one (will be close) and will get the tavern ones except for 7 star for sure. 7 star I already have one, will need to luck into another during the event.
I caved and 6 starred Ormus, couldn’t wait for a fusion event any longer. Actually needed a 6 star for tavern anyways. He and my 5 star Norma soloed the whole brave trial, which was fun

Been playing a few months slowly getting there but not sure on what my best line-up should be. I want to get 2nd demon hunter and also 6 star queen when I get the fire fodder 5 stars .

Remember you can "store" the 7 star and 6 star quests until the event comes, then complete them. I already completed all of the events x.x;; Casino is a good event for free to play, but that's why you buy the tokens and stuff from the marketplace.

Ahh you have a pretty decent line up at least with stared heroes
Vesa is pretty good, some people think shes "allright" but I think she's better than "allright". You are kinda lacking in the tank dept - you have 6 stars and that's good but your tanks aren't. Barea many people run as a tank, but he's not. He CAN tank, but he's best put in last slot to live as long as possible because he becomes a machine at round 6. With your current lineup, though, because Barea is 7 star, I'd probably run Barea, Vesa, Margaret, OD-01, Mirage, Lutz. The best tank hero you have is Groo, but you only have him 5 star.
OD-01 isn't bad but most helpful for gerke tower levels. Starlight is marginal, but I'd use OD-01 over her. Balrog is a decent tank, but not that great anymore. Honor Guard is a pure tank, but I wouldn't use him. You can also try Honor Guard, Vesa, Margaret, Mirage, Lutz, Barea. Try to get Barea to last past round 6. Malassa has good synergy with Margaret, but you dont have her. Margaret dies easily, but she does a lot of damage when she dies too, so its not always a negative.
Suggestions: Do not get rid of your queens, I'd 6 star her. She's solid. Do not get rid of Rosa. He's oen of the best heroes in the game - does no damage but supports your damage dealers greatly. Do not waste any more resource on Baade, he's a terrible hero. Demon Hunter is a good hero to level up too. She's one of the top tier heros also. I would not make Honor Guard, or Balrog, or Starlight to more than 6 star. I would not 10 star Mirage, Lutz, or OD-O1.
