I'm a cheapskate too, it's why I do the private server. All of the benefits, outside of some of the most recent hero, and free. Only downside is sometimes the servers can be laggy but maybe live has that trouble too.

Are any of these Mysterious Chests worth getting? I'm a full F2P and have 6400 gems.

Started like a week ago, these are my heroes right now (the first six 60's being the ones I use):

They just did an update to increase the gem amount from the monthly card, as well as added a “gem fund” worth 20k gems for $10. For anyone that isn’t f2p it’s a great deal. Also the first purchase of a monthly card has a reduced price

Been playing this but I seem to be at the point where I have to either spend $ (nope) or wait a looong time and wait for RNG to shine if I want to upgrade guys to 6* and continue...

Yep, it’s called idle heroes for a reason. The main thing in the game is to save resources for events that you can complete. As you get higher level and better heroes the resources start coming a bit faster

For PVP slot 1: is King Barton or Kroos the better hero?

I have 2 other Stuns on team. Demon Hunter silence, Amuvor and Ormus.

I've got 24k gems and can't figure out what to spend them on. Any suggestions?

Also what is the point of the 3 star hero shards? 1500 of those and as far as I can tell 3 star heroes are useless?

Still havent been able to forge one of my 5 stars higher. Cant even evolve anything to 5 star since all the evolutions are missing like 1 or 2 guys...

spend your gems on the dwarf event

specific 3 stars are needed for 5* combines, thats the only use for em.

Gems should be used to reroll tavern quests to get 4*+, purchase any extra event raid attacks for the 4* hero shards, and purchase either scrolls, orbs, or casino chips depending on what you are focusing on. For events, use them for blacksmith event and gem boxes. Shelter light/dark heroes are always trash now, so don’t waste the gems on them

The deals on the cards and stuff this event are pretty good. Especially the diamond card thing if you're over the max level of the deal. It totals to like 10k gems.

Do you mean the gem fund and the monthly card discounts? That’s not part of this event. Gem fund is one time and gives about 15k gems total, and the monthly card discount is for first purchase of each (since they added the discount).

The gem fund is definitely an excellent deal if you aren’t f2p
