If it is any consolation, I had a big stake in TSLA in anticipation of this too. I unloaded finally only a week or so ago when it hit $149.

After the run up yesterday got the last of my energy play out. Just over 30 days 17.5%. Good enough. At this rate if we got a vaccine leak about once a month it would be a great year lol.

I recently doubled my position in GMHI (SPAC) that is merging with Luminar (Lidar company). They signed a deal with Daimler truck and Daimler took a small stake in the company. It is probably a 3-5 year play but at $10 a share it has homerun potential down the road either by itself or by being acquired. Or, its a strikeout :) . Peter Thiel is backing the company and CEO so it has enough legitimacy that it isn't vaporware. It also has a 1.3 billion book of business with Volvo.

Besides puts at 14 I should be able to close early I bought more at 15 last week and put trailing stop loss. They've been one of the best stocks I've done trades and options with

do you guys think that S&P 500 announcement is enough tot ake TSLA over $500 or is $460 is where its going to top out?

its wobbling already so im wondering if i should just eject now. if being added to S&P 500 isnt enough to take this to $500/share, then nothing will short of releasing a new car model or shipping 500K units per quarter

I am pretty comfortable predicting the price movement on most stocks. TSLA isnt most stocks. I stopped trying to predict what it will do.

I sold at 447. I doubt it will go to 500 this year and I wasted too much on opportunity cost by having my money tied up in it.

Shit looks unstoppable right now. All the big investor money is pouring in. The big concern is going to be the January release of the rest of the shares that are locked up until then.

Tested $18 and fell back at $17.90
Touched $18

I mean, market has had a good year any way you look at it. It's at just about 10% YTD.

And that ignores the massive market drop from covid which provided an extra opportunity to buy cheap.
