Because a room of lawyers writes the 8k and their job is to avoid getting skull fucked by the SEC. One possible reason is the Regulation Fair Disclosure. They have to make sure the same info is disclosed to the public as is disclosed to all shareholders. Now imagine what insiders holding shares have been discussing. That is why the 8k includes that line.Why do they have to say anything?
