SBA offered instant 3% loans during COVID. Literally all I had to do was drag a bar from $0 - $150,000 and I got free money in my account in two days.

A week ago the SBA sent out another email saying that they’ve increased loan amounts to $500,000 and that anyone who got one before could reapply. Any loan under $200,000 doesn’t even need collateral or guarantors. Loans above $200,000 just need guarantors, but still don’t require collateral. Loans above $500,000 require collateral, lol.

So, what do I do? I drag the little scroll bar up to the top again. I guess I’ll hear back within a few days on whether we got approved or not. But, given the volume of loans they’re giving out I doubt they’re doing any due diligence.

Clown world for sure. There are going to be so many bankruptcies over the next decade.

In other news the USFS approved a pilot of our system and will prob be launching in the coming months, so I’m not worried about taking on debt.

I got the same email on April 16th but so far have ignored it. Ill look into it now.

What if I want to open a business to fix up old houses that I will then sell? (to myself for a dollar!)

Could I get my hands on some of this free plague money?

I think you had to get the first round to get this increase. It’s not PPP. It’s EIDL which is economic disaster money.

I forget who was lamenting the tank job that LAZR did, but the last two days have been fucking up the shorts. Stock went from $16 to $22 in a day and a half. The market is a game of patience. Closed out all my puts on these spikes up for tendies.

We recovered from yesterday, now we just need Biden to shut the fuck up for the rest of the year, thanks.

OCGN is at a nice entry point. missed a couple chances to scalp but its set to go up considerably. for reference theyre a pennsylvania based biotech company with distribution deal with bharat biotech for covid vaccine covaxin, phase 3 interim data just came out yesterday with 81% efficacy, safe, easily adapted for future variants, ships in ready to use liquid form without extreme cold storage etc. plenty more promising DD, just awaiting FDA EUA down the road. should be aware of a shareholder vote march 16 to increase shares from 200 to 295 million to raise funds for manufacturing and distrubuting and a bright future to change the world blah balh.
And now it’s down 13 percent. The good entry was sub $7-8. It had its run up already.

My portfolio is now green except for SPACs. KMB came close to ruining this, however.

Getting a loan for no particular reason, what could go wrong?
We’re not getting the loan for no particular reason. They’re giving us a loan for no particular reason.

Most of it will be allocated as soon as we get it.

Someone mentioned the other day the pacific northwest had a number of mill fires when they had an outbreak of wildfires during the BLM riots they were using drip torches from the road.

The southeast now outproduces the northwest in timber products but to make up the difference has to come from somewhere.

This industry report seems to throw it all on reduced ability to mill with labor shortages during the virus, and large increase in demand from stimulus money and people at home having the time to build things.

Well, damn. I didn’t realize NW mills got mostly peaceful protested. I never considered lower production in conjunction with higher demand.

Finally, an explanation that makes sense. These SE sawmills are making a KILLING.

Throw in the number of mill workers (a LOT of illegals or near illegals now) that could claim covid shit and get unemployment and make more than working at the mill. A lot of mill work now is just labor, not really a career by any stretch. There are some but there is a lot of "just someone".
