This is a 37.41 percent decrease over earnings of $1.39 per share from the same period last year. The company reported quarterly sales of $18.40 billion which beat the analyst consensus estimate of $18.31 billion by 0.49 percent. This is a 6.47 percent decrease over sales of $19.67 billion the same period last year.

Down again. this is likely the only short I would every actually play. Shorting INTC into earnings.

Same goes for a lot of business leadership. Hyper-focus on near term growth and market cap/stock price metrics does not necessarily select for durable and long-term profitable businesses. I see TOOOONS of under-investment, maintenance deferral, and general can-kicking in the industries I consult...

That AMZN number still is shocking, I had to look like 3 times to make sure there was suposed to be a minus sign in front of the 7. I figured they would miss knowing retail environment sucks right now and B&M is doing great but still.
