For all you guys that were tracking egg futures, or bought 5,000 chickens for your backyard, the ride appears to be over.

Yeah, HEB eggs were less than $2/dozen for large and right over $2 for Jumbo. Maybe chicken prices will see a decline as well.

Me sitting here with 24 birds , 12 chick's in the brooder, 10 eggs under a hen, and 4 young hens I pre ordered from a breeder 3 months ago ready soon.....
I've made a horrible mistake. (though I started them before prices were actually bringing me a profit. )

Not to get meta, but this is meta, and needs no further exposition.I feel like a better comparison to the current AI boom, is the .COM boom. Is legitimately changing everything, but also the buzziest of buzzwords right now.
Yea, I think we’re really in the experimental stage right now like 80s and early 90s internet. The really cool AI stuff will come in 15-20 years. People now will figure out the weird and quirky things, in 15 years we’ll have AIs that are refined and built for specific tasks, probably in surprising or unexpected ways compared to today.I feel like a better comparison to the current AI boom, is the .COM boom. You're welcome.Nvda wont stop going up, set new 52 week high ah.

For short term, even the premium on the covered calls looks good. Or I could just cut bait and resell. Was able to get the 11$ 6/16 for 0.23$ so much better than I anticipated
Ford.Wife got rear ended in her 2020 Ford Explorer ST, totaling it. We went and looked at some different makes that are similar in size, and she ended up on the 2023 Lincoln Aviator. No surprise, same chassis and size, similar power and even a slightly upgraded interior.
We determine the exact options and features she wants, but there aren't any locally. Building one will take 6 months plus according to the dealership.
As luck would have it, I find one about 900 miles away with 4k miles on it for a decent price. Call the dealership, start the whole process and wire them the money after a couple days of back and forth.
As we are setting up logistics, wife gets a call from the dealership saying Ford put a "stop sale" on the car that morning, and they can't let it leave the lot. "Give us a couple days to work this out and we will call you." ???
This is an actual Ford dealership, not some rando used car lot, so I call and ask their head of finance what the shit is going on. He tells me they have 10 similar vehicles on their lot that are brand new with signs in them saying cannot be driven cannot be sold. They are attempting to get an exemption on our vehicle since it was pre owned, and the sale happened before they put the stop sale in place.
The issue? A software glitch in the 360 camera that can blue screen your display, temporarily. Ford does not have a fix in place and they don't know when they will.
Makes you wonder just how many bricks are sitting in Ford dealerships across the country that they can't sell. Hoping we get exempted and get our car, considering they have our fuckin money!!

I honestly thought about diary posting that Ford story here. The bit I left out is that a local dealership called us back today on a vehicle they were expecting to be delivered in 3 months (aviator) was "pulled off the boat and it will not be shipped now." Clusterfuck.Ford.
