"According to the FT, Citigroup credited a client’s account with $81tn when it meant to send only $280, an error that surely hinder the bank’s attempt to persuade regulators that it has fixed long-standing operational issues.

Citi’s $81tn near miss in April was due to an input error and a back-up system with a cumbersome user interface, according to FT sources. In mid-March, four transactions totaling $280 destined for a customer’s escrow account in Brazil had been blocked by a screen that catches payments that are potential sanction violations. The payment was quickly cleared, but nonetheless remained stuck in the bank’s system and unable to be completed normally."

I know some options to possibly invest already but I'd still kinda like to stay liquid for any crazy farm expenses, but sofi continues to creep rates down.

Any other aggressive good rates out there to compete with them? I'm down to like 3.6 i think it was.

It's 3.8.

There's various banks out there offering about 4.5% or so. You could park your money in SWVXX which looks to be about 4.2% right now.

Treasuries still paying 4.32 for a 1mo. (Buy directly through Fidelity)

That is how I roll my short term cash positions.

If you ever need the cash on short notice, you can sell on the open market, wait 1 day for the trade to settle, then initiate your transfer to your bank.

This is interesting.. but for me the payoff doesn't seem worth the hassle.

4.32% yield vs 3.80% on say, $100k is just $520/year or $43/month

Good advice though. I would rather just move my funds to a bank that has a similar APY, there are some out there that are FDIC insured

Still didn't touch it so the streak doesn't end yet. We really going to get this close and not touch it.

A wise investor once told me to always price a buy a little above the mark and not be OCD about the exact price :)

Are you in the Haynesville? Good time to be getting Natty G royalties. Just had some new wells come on in the SCOOP under some of my minerals and the gas price for September was $1.27, by December was $2.92, and the current Henry Hub is at $4.40. Make sure you double check your division orders, O&G minerals is one of my primary businesses and the most annoying part is trying to get one of these giant O&G companies to get my interest correct, they always want to keep paying whatever decimal they were paying the guy I bought them front, regardless of what they really are.

Missed the bottom on my JPM fill by 5 cents. Added to my position at about the 100 DMA ($246). Added to my TOPT position at $24.70, missed my GOOGL fill buy about $2 and as previously mentioned added to AMZN at $200.
