Sucks.. I have about $90k sitting around and despite investing into company stock, roth, 401k, brokerage, hsa, bitcoin.. it's just going to sit in my HYSA. I don't like the risk of dropping most of it lump sum into VTI with how volatile Trump is

For sure. One of my favorite routes used to be emirates JFK->DXB on their a380. I believe Cathay also flies quite a few airbuses internationally

Liquidated all my holdings except FBTC and FETH at about 1p this afternoon, after reports of an imminent strike on Iran by Israel seemed credible.

Oh, I did buy the dip on GME. Probably going to regret that one 🤦‍♂️.

Agreed we don’t know what happened and the 787 had a literal perfect safety as of last week since entering service *14* years ago and that should actually be seen as a marvel of modern engineering IMO

That being said airbus has plenty of long haul aircraft operated by US carriers such as the A330, A350.

Could have been pilot error, who knows. They did fly into the ground with the flaps up which are normally extended at slow speeds to provide more lift.
