If you really want change put it on mute for 10-15 minutes on the first episode and close it and never watch it again. Those metrics are super important to streaming services.

Reading through the plot synopses, and Christ, this sounds like the most racist (but the 'racism' is 100% accurate) media in years.
Which... makes me assume the Mephisto rumors are true, and the ending is Riri acknowledging all of the above and retconning the show out of existence, right?
Edit: To be clear, I mean that literally, like whatever deal she makes with Mephisto (or an equivalent) erases the events of the show from the Marvel timeline.

Wasn't this just "part 1" of the season? I wonder if they're setting her up as a horrible person to try to add weight to her "face turn" and redemption arc in the second part of the season. Or was this drop the whole 1st season?

First half of the season came out last week, tonight is the 2nd half which is now out as of 6pm PST. 3 episodes per batch. S1 is 6 episodes.
First 2 episodes are kinda rough, starts to pick up at 3 and keeps going decently until the end imo.
Sacha Baron Cohen's MEPHISTO! And not just a one-off scene or cameo, the entire finale.

my brother is a huge dr. strange fan (yeah i dunno why either) but i guess he thought that was part of this show or something so he watched it all and talked to me about it today and told me who shows up.
so i watched episode 1, some of the worst TV i've ever seen no way i am watching it all. skipped ahead to episode 6, which i guess dropped today. anyways to save all of you some time
Mephisto shows up in episode 6 (dont think he is in any other episode), played by Sacha Baron Cohen aka Borat aka Ali G. It was ok I guess? It felt pretty anti-climactic and didn't feel that special, but maybe someone cares. I don't.
No connection at all to Avengers Doomsday it seems, so thats good at least. I guess if you really give a shit just watch episode 6, but it was still just awful.
