The best thing about 2 is Wick going virtuoso with the Benelli in the tombs. That speed loading shit being the exception. The best thing about 3 is... well it isn't a DC superhero movie.

I can watch 1 over, and over. Sequels were fun, never cared to watch again though.

Writers had such a badass original thing with opportunity and went to shit. Obviously got temped by the studios

Didn’t seem like it was his decision to not direct the next John Wick movies. He said the studio didn’t renew his contract.

but yeah super happy to see him in Wick, I love the Ip Man movies. they are all on Netflix along with a bunch of spinoffs. Mike Tyson being the villain in Ip Man 3 is amazing

None of the movies are really that good. The acting is so so, the plot is predictable, etc. etc.

But I fucking love them, and will throw money at the next one.

Your points are generally correct, but you leave out important things like choreography and other technicals. The dudes who made these do a phenomenal job of directing actors in fight / gunplay scenes. I love watching Keanu do his thing in these.
