Nah, everyone noticed the change around 2020. She had her first kid in 2014 and nothing had changed then. Her second kid was in 2021 after her changes. She has never said she had surgery and no one has ever proved she had. I am not up to snuff on how weight and shit changes breast size.

As far as Adrian Brody goes, I think is a bad actor and I thought he did a pretty good job as Royce in the predators movie. The movie was definitely a bunch of callbacks to the original, but Robert Rodriguez at least understands the source content and I think did a pretty admirable job of making a fun film for people that like that franchise. It was definitely more of a comic book type film, or I'm sure it would have been a perfect dark horse comic. Pretty sure they actually did a continuation of that movie's story in the comics but I haven't read them.

Not a fan of Brody films as they are usually dumb artsy affairs but I did like him in that miniseries Chapelwaite. Cool story bro.

Scarred Jo is fugly now and l will never go out of my way to watch marshommed ali. He's awful.

As the old adage goes, there's no accounting for taste. Kids (or the kid-level intelligence adults) like seeing the dinosaurs go 'Raaawr!', I guess.

I expect Rebirth will do slightly worse than Dominion (especially accounting for inflation) and still be around the #5 US movie for the year - it won't overtake Minecraft or Lilo & Stitch, but will probably sneak past Sinners. It'll probably do better than Superman, but will likely do worse than Avatar 3 and Wicked 2, especially if you include their takes in 2026.

The Lost World was probably my biggest disappointment for a movie as far as comparing what I was expecting and what I got from it. The book may have been my favorite Michael Crichton book. We were in Florida on vacation when the book released and I got a hard cover from Universal Studios or wherever we were...pretty sure I finished it before we got home. So when the movie came out, I was excited to see the book on the big screen. It was nothing like the book. Jurassic Park was close, with a few changes...I think they switched the personalities of the boy and girl, iirc...and Hammond was more obviously evil instead of just naive. The Lost World wasn't even close. "Hey Michael...can you write a sequel so that we can completely ignore everything except the title?" The movie/franchise would have done a lot better if they had just stuck to the script.

I remember my grandmother had a hardback copy and I read the whole thing when visiting them one summer, had to be mid-late 90's. Yeah... the movie had absolutely fuckall to do with the book. It's been since then that I read it but wasn't Dr. Levin like the main POV character and then completely absent in the movie?

Bro. Dallas Bryce Howard’s character in JW1 was basically Burke from Aliens (the villain). Her character in JW was a corporate drone who only cared about profit and herself. Even when people were dying all around her she didn’t give a shit. Yet in the story she’s paraded as a heroine when she is the real human villain in the tale.

if Michael Crichton wrote the script, she would’ve have died at the end by the monster not have a fairy tale ending with Chris Pratt’s motorcycle.

It's really modern Hollywood in general. People get shot of cut up but you don't actually see it.

Guns are the worst. Everything is off frame. Get shot by a guy off frame and slump over. Or you see the guy shoot but whenever he it's is off frame then it cuts to the guy he hits slumped over. It's very bizarre.
