Why not? Glad the show is over however - it was a spiral of drama for drama sake, it was like Gossip Girl and Brothers and Sisters w/ kicking and punching.

Looks like this won't have much of anything to do with the Cobra Kai show (which is more about Lawrence and Miguel in the end, I think) but I'm sure it's in the same universe and will probably go out of its way to not contradict/negate the show. I'll certainly go see it. Glad Jaden's out of the picture, kid can't act worth a goddamn. Kinda feel bad for Hillary Swank though, literally every living major character from the four Miyagi-based Karate Kid movies got brought back for the show except her. ......probably because most people don't even know there was a fourth Miyagi-based Karate Kid movie. You, the one reading this, probably also forgot until I mentioned it just now.

I almost feel like this could do well if they really wrote this as a continuation to the 2nd movie. Obviously with Jackie Chan in the movie that will not be the case, but I could have seen something like this movie actually playing out as a great follow-up after all this time.
