OK I ordered one of those new gun mice with force feedback. Worst case I can bring it to work and cause panic when I am force feedback shooting my powerpoint presentations.

Ive got a Razer deathadder 3 that constantly disconnects for some reason. Tried replacing the drivers a few times and updates nothing seems to work. At this point I want something else that doesn't have 10000 buttons on it but is otherwise quality.

I bought a redragon 991 gaming mouse. Didn't break the bank, the flashy lights can be turned off. Software doesn't have to be loaded every time, just to change things basically. Bought it in July of 23 and I have not managed to kill it yet.

i had a deathadder for years, i even modded 1 and put a mechanical switch on it

turns out the deathadder was just a horrible mouse overall for ergonomics

please try a different mouse

OK Ergostrike 7 received.

It's interesting. It feels fairly premium. The hand forming base is a mixed bag, if it doesn't fit you it will suck but if it does it's great. There's no adjustability there. Lots of options and ergonomics overall are pretty good. There's a pretty full software component if you want to do all the macro shit and everything else. Being able to turn off recoil is nice for silent mode, and it has a rubber silencer cap to fit over the recoil mechanism. It has RGB as well. It does have the full 5 buttons (1/2/middle mouse down 3/4/5), plus a bonus 6th button that is normally a 'full auto fast reset' prebind. Trigger has a mechanical switch feel, it's not mushy. However you can 'click' the mouse before recoil fires as well, it's a very linear pull.

The negatives so far:

The first is I don't see a way to change it to permanent 'semi auto' mode where it only recoils once per 'click'. This could be patched via software though to change the 1x/2x toggle to be semi/auto. The other thing is I like my Logitech super scroll mode, this doesn't have it and don't see an option to change scroll rate or acceleration. Relatively minor things.

From a controllability standpoint this will take some getting used to just because it's a vertical mouse.

Use razer Nagas. Same mouse. Only forward/back for side buttons.

You all are getting old. Razer has a solution to your gaming woes!

i use the logi in the video, if anyone gets the logi, get the newest one, it feels way better and the clicks are nearly inaudible, i don't game w/ it, it probably does suck for that tho

the newest one has the rounded top and is only battery powered, i know it's weird

After watching those and a couple other videos I went ahead and grabbed the Logi MX off Amazon b/c it was next day delivery. Not sure if it is the newest or whatever. Did you mean the Ergo Lift? Did even notice that when I went to buy.

Honestly the transition has been really easy. Almost immediately felt like there wasn't an issue clicking. Not winning any CS:GO tournaments over here but for work productivity it has been nice. My client's administrative assistant has had two surgies on each arm and she switched to vertical the last couple of years. She actually has a right hand one and a left hand one, and one that can switch from horizontal to veritcal as needed. Can't find that one on Amazon though.

Side tangent, I need an admin as good as this lady, she's like the most organized and on top of things I've ever seen.

yes that is the newest one, it's way better than the older logi w/ a top thumb button (and rechargable)

don't worry battery lasts forever, i still haven't changed it since i bought it

I don't even know what this top thumb button does and never bothered to install the stupid logitech software. I just use the two finger buttons and the forward/back thumb buttons.

Maybe I'll pick up the other one to try out and return this one or give it to wife.
