Well Dwarven Forge is at again with the Caverns Reforged. Ive got a bunch of caverns stuff. Its all great. I did get mine during the KS2 days so it was waaay cheaper. But i also use this stuff bi weekly.

Do...caves need much painting? Start primer Grey, dry brush a few Grey browns. Indistinguishable from 800 dollar paint job

They do have everything unpainted as well. I only buy unpainted stuff from them. This is that big set thats $832, Unpainted its $570. Caverns Reforged - Hand Painted Modular Terrain by Dwarven Forge - Gamefound I mean its still a ton. But something that huge is also not really needed. I went for the small sets back in the day.

Painting is also rather easy on this stuff. Minimal colors for maximum pop. Ive painted like 100s of pieces. I do it while sitting in my truck at work during/after lunch LOL

Prices have gone up a bit. 12yrs ago the base set unpainted was $75, now its $169 . But the faces on my kids, and their friends and hell even my friends when i field a full painted dungeon with little lights and stuff in it is amazing.
