It seemed kinda weird to me that Trakanon wasn't needed, but I guess you need him for a VP key, and you need a VP key to be able to turn in the others.... herp a derp.

My guys just got through 40 in Sol B king area. Gonna hit up bats/LDC, imps/efretti, then seafuries for some cash I guess. Around 46 head to Fear/Hate for armor and progression stuff? I'm guessing since you guys no longer do CT/Inny, I'm gonna need to do the solo progression route. Just ground drops + Naggy/Vox head, yeah?

Trak's head is used for the solo velious progression though.

And, as pointed out, you need Trak for your VP key which is needed for Raid Progression.

@Taebin, I would head over to Seafuries at 40 no problem. You will make a bucketload of cash there vs the poor man SolB grind. Imps also have significantly more HP than kobolds, so I am not at all convinced they are the best xp grind mobs. Might as well make some money on SFs if you ask me. Bring lots of empty bags. Many of the items are non stackable! (Ruby Crowns, earrings, etc)

Was really just interested in efretti boots for my priest, and a ring for my warrior/bard.

I have been to sea furies from 40 to 46 yesterday and have made 24kpp so far. Sadly I have nothing to buy.

I put all of my seafury money into the Kunark casino. Ended up with a CoS and Fungi stick for my necro which seemed worthwhile. Have not seen a single caster item come out of the Velious casino, unfortunately.

I predict we will kill our first Velious raid target on the next Monday.

Ballin! Will skip efretti then and go straight to seafuries. Hate/fear trash is soloable right for planar gear and essences?

Efreeti is fucking rough anyway. He casts Ice Comet for (at the time) 1400dd. No idea what the post-nerf IC numbers are now, but you would most likely be 1 shot at lvl40.

Hate is doable, but Fear is pretty damn dangerous with all the wanderers and easy adds. If you are worried about essences, the guild is still farming them; just not on official raid time. Hell, there was a group up there post-raid after VP last night. Keep an eye out.

Then I realized, while I was leveling there it was the Double XP week for Christmas, and I was running Lesson.

What seems to be the average amount to generate an Item. I really want a SoD but dont want to throw 25kpp at it and get nothing since I hate gambling IRL.

Just like anything else EQ, youre at the whim of the RNG. I have probably thrown 20k (12k in one sitting) at the Velious Casino and have nothing to show for it. I threw 400p at the Classic Casino and walked away with an Earthshaker. I think Nima put in less than 2k to Classic and got 3 gold tickets (one resulted in a Manastone).

The other way to look at it is, what else do you have to spend the money on? Set aside a good 10k for your spells or whatever and have fun with the rest.

Do you have to be Luclin flagged in order to run the Luclin casino? I've seen a Utility and Illusion one too, no idea...
