Netflix got lucky with the deal because if they had produced it Rumi would be Rumqueisha. Either way nobody believed it would do anything and it popped off so much it became Netflix #1 movie in their history, pretty sure the songs are still like on all top 10 charts world wide and Sony had to backtrack and release it in theaters which they first declined to do.
