Having not learned from Caprica SyFy returns to prequel-land with Krypton :

Actually Caprica got damn good towards the end, it was just marketed terribly and had a crappy first half of a season during the "we're too cool for genre TV" era of leadership at Universal.

This could be either very interesting or incredibly terrible. I wonder if it will tie into the CBS Supergirl series at all? Although unlike CBS and CW there is no commonality between the shows here save for Warner Bros themselves.

Pass. The only version of Krypton we've seen that has been interesting was in Man of Steel. Imagine them trying to do that on a SyFy budget.

I actually think it had more potential than Gotham because it is far more removed from the 'main' story and its characters. There would be less need to drop in characters every episode like they do in Gotham. That said, prequels rarely work, so there's a much higher chance it will be a failure.

Surprisingly good production values for what this is. Been hearing about this show for awhile now but was never gonna give it a shot. Stupid prequel probably filled with Superman teases that will never amount to anything. Following people trying to save a planet that can't be saved. It's all so meh.

But then SyFy made The Expanse and The Magicians. Both of which I enjoy the fuck out off so I guess I'll give this a shot.
