My guess is Andy Garcia will hire/force Demi to rehire BBT and everything will be essentially the same but with more animosity between BBT and Demi.

I'm guessing that something will go horribly wrong and she will beg him to come back by the end of the season but we'll see. Yeah. The only Sheridan show I've made it more than two seasons on is Yellowstone and in retrospect that was a mistake. There's only so much time you can spend with his characters. They're just too over the top and stereotypical to hang with for more than a season or two but the first season is almost always fun. After that it is what it is.

I seem to remember at the end of S1 when Monty died they said MTex was wholly owned by Monty/Demi. They just made a new board on the spot in the hospital of Demi, BBT, and the lawyer. There are individuals/companies/banks that have contracts with MTex but I'm pretty sure BBT and Demi told them she's 100% the boss back in S2E1.
Sheridan likes a flawed but ultimately mary sue lead female so my prediction is being refined to Demi gets lucky with the gulf. Gallindo hires Tommy and asks him to swing things his way even if both sides are making money. Gallindo told his wife "this is the future" so I think he actually wants to be an oil tycoon and Tommy will be his (reluctant) landman mentor.
