Think it'll miss a few times with cami getting more and more desperate on this gamble getting more and more in bed with the cartels all so that she doesn't lose her husband's company against all advice from bbt and lawyers but yeah prolly by the end of season 3 it does hit big but at that point they're in too deep with the cartels

If this show doesn't end with Demi Moore's character bankrupting the company and then having to sell all her personal assets to cover the losses to the cartel, I'm going to be disappointed.
I thought the gas station was a missed opportunity for a Bucc-ee's cameo, but I guess there isn't one to the west there.

Your not supposed to root for the tranny. This show is a critique on "modern" culture and while a caricature, the tranny is very apt representation of modern college experiences and the insanity of their beliefs. even fucking BYU is embracing this garbage.

Just like you start to feel for the aging beauty queen trophy wife turned mama bear as she searches for meaning in her life.
The sons storyline is still crap, I've realized he is the self insert from Sheridan. Scrawny kid turned tough guy wannabe cowboy who somehow wins every fight and who always gets lucky, with his ethnic girlfriend/fiance. Do all his shows have a wannabe cowboy with a Mexican wife?

All his shows have the scrawny awkward guy who gets the chick way hotter than he would get in real life. It seems to be one of the handful of characters he reuses.

I'm willing to cut Sheridan some slack on his average SEC couples trope because the alternative is he cast's 6's instead of 9s and 10s. Either that or all his lost puppy dog characters are Chads and that would be just a bad the other way.

I mean, for the most part I've enjoyed the show. I even find (usually) the mother and daughter hilarious. This episode was just something else though.
And it seems they've basically abandoned anything to do with oil/gas. We're 8 episodes in to a 10 episode season, and basically the only scene having anything to do with it was the one with the son re-drilling that one new well. I guess if you count lawyers arguing about contracts there's a bit more, but even still not a ton of screen time for it.

Sure but the dorm scene was funny as shit, and we got story progression with Demi going full retard "you don't get high on gambling, youre fired!"
We even got character development, with the second most hateable character on the show (the hot wife) actually having a moment where the audience could like her a little.
Its dumb soap opera stuff but I guess we know what were in for with Sheridan shows by now.
