That is some psychotic parenting, some crazy ass rebate for emotional turmoil, and it's all for some cheap level payoff of programming versus being raised in a plot about robo-police that went genocidal.
I had 2 of those Ruger 10-22's (at least that's what it looks like he's shooting the apples with) , both with banana clips one stock and one in black fiberglass folding stock. Fun guns. Think I still have one of them here somewhere.
