I had 2 of those Ruger 10-22's (at least that's what it looks like he's shooting the apples with) , both with banana clips one stock and one in black fiberglass folding stock. Fun guns. Think I still have one of them here somewhere.

I haven't watched a single episode because I don't have HBO but is it really that bad? If so that's hilarious. I'll let you dudes bite the bullet, and maybe one day I might watch it.

It's a direct fucking quote. Lanterns are supposed to have no fear and the alien/guardian asks his wife if he fears anything she says he's a black man in america, what do you think 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️. So to make sure there son doesnt have fear like his dad they keep doing a William Tell and shooting apples off his head everyday. I'm not making this up, oh and I guess the guardians start raising Lanterns from child birth in this lol. John can keep projections even without a ring or have consciousness, they are just making shit up it seems

Just amazing. Even when the character is supposed to be black and not about race - they manage to turn it into the dumbest most cliched "but im BLACK" bullshit ever. Ep 1-2 were fine then BAM its fucking Watchmen level bad.

I was willing to give it the unwarranted and overly optimistic benefit of the doubt after the first and second episode because Green Lantern has always been one of my favorites, but they lost me with this one.

Its that bad, when Hal isn't on the screen.

I watched all of like 15 mins of ep 1 before skipping to the reveal at the end, then did something similar with ep2. They've butchered Johns character so bad already. I hope they get zero viewers once ep4 proves a wash.

You know the real crappy thing is movies or TV shows or whatever come out and we all get excited about them, but the vast majority are horrible, never get finished or they're trying to milk subscriber numbers.

It's not that any of us are going into it not wanting something to be good and enjoyable, but my stuff that comes out now is pretty bad. I was talking to one of my buddies yesterday afternoon and he and his wife had gone and seen the Odyssey, and he's like it was as bad as jeepers creepers and the only way I got through the movie was because they serve beer at the theater. I said fuck you, The Odyssey might be bad but Jeepers creepers is great and the second one is even better. He's still pissed at me to this day 25 years ago when I made him go watch that movie one weekend, but he had us at through almost 3 hours of the Odyssey I guess it's probably over 3 hours with the advertisements and stuff.

The point being is nobody wants any of these things to be crappy but they always are. However you get something that comes out of nowhere like Widow's Bay, for The Chair Company. Those are I guess the last two really memorable shows that I was completely enamored with. And I can't wait to see another season
