So I tried tanking my placements on my smurf account and was placed silver 4 and I really want to start from bronze 5 and work my way up for fun.

Can I just play ranked and feed like a man man and drop fast? will I get banned for playing like that?

edit- went 0/9 on yasuo and still won. shits impossible.

It takes as many games to go from Silver 4 to bronze 5 as Silver 4 to gold 3 probably, if you're skilled enough to get gold 3 anyway. People in lower bronze are often people that just don't know how to play or play super casually or something

Why would you feed to drop? That's pretty lame for the people you're playing with. Don't be an asshole.

If you really want a B5 account, just buy one.

Ya it is pretty hard. In Bronze/Silver no matter how bad the game is there is always a chance to win due to the retards there. So you will have some trouble dropping all the way to to Bronze 5, in fact you might get frustrated actually trying to lose lol.

I tried losing on purpose last year and found it to be impossible. You reach a point in mid/low silver where your ability to dictate the outcome of the game (for the negative) goes way down and the whole thing becomes not worth the effort.

On the plus side I found the entire experience to be eye-opening. While there may be games you cannot win there are also games you cannot lose. Not only should you not take any one loss to heart but you shouldn't take any one win to heart either. It may have gone that way no matter what you did.

How do you report players from the enemy team for DDOSing? 99% sure that's what happened in my last game.

That's why it's called ELO hell. It's a fucking shitshow of random luck where even if you absolutely shit on the enemy team there's a good chance your team decides to take their 8k gold, 6 towers taken with 0 lost, 3 dragons to 0 advantage up 37-13 on kills and turn it into constant 2v5's until the end of the game when the enemy team wins. This happens both ways, of course, like you said. Hence why it's fucking rng luck and not skill for the most part as far as advances (unless you're like diamond 1 riven and can 1v5 in 75% of the games where your team tries to do this and force a win that way).

Elo hell is at every ranking. Gold players who have a bad streak and can't get out of silver for a while. Diamond players who spend a couple of weeks at plat one. Just think of it as training with practice weights on. I just don't buy the idea that you can't move up no matter what and that everything is luck. I started as a bronze player. Ended season two as silver one, season three as plat 2 with a diamond five surf that I couldn't maintain, and now my main account bounces around the mid diamond tiers. So is that just luck? Or did I get better after playing a couple thousand ranked games over the span of time I've played lol?

I suggest being very careful with the new automated report system. A buddy just got a 3 day ban after a game where he, literally, said one word(dick) the whole game. Nidalee support speared the blue buff from him and he typed "dick" and while we were in champ select for the next game he got a three dayer.

Something tells me he was a lot more abusive then just saying dick in chat to get a 3 day ban...It was most likely counting past reports as well because there is no way saying "dick" gives you a 3 day ban.

basically. I call people faggots and call teammates feeders and many more words with #triggerwarnings literally every game and haven't been banned in years. Saying 'dick' once will not get you banned.

So I realize I'll never be good with Rengar. My ping is too high to fire off that many abilities quickly. My fingers being too slow and old doesn't help either. So yesterday I decided I wanted to try to learn Azir because I really loved his kit when it was released, but it was broken.

So thinking that I just want to practice mechanics of last hitting and movement, I realize that Riot really need to just create a practice mode where it's just a lane with minions coming at you and you can add any level of bot at any time during the match, or even remove it.

That would be great for me for when I just want to mess around with a champ's mechanics instead of having to go through setting up a custom game. Sometimes you just want to practice level 1 last hitting all day long. If Heroes of the Storm has it, LOL should have it.

I always overestimate how hard auto's hit on the first wave. Continually think I'm getting a last hit, only to leave the creep at a sliver and watch as it dies before my next auto comes out.

I do the same when I play a champ for the first time, or after I haven't played the game in a while. I work from a home office. I have spare time occasionally but I never have enough time to put full concentration on a full game because I might get a call or an email I have to respond to right away. I would love a practice mode to dick around in and practice that stuff.

If you live on the east coast, log on the LAN server and work on your mechanics. I played the last week over there, and switched back the last two days to play with friends on the NA server. Night and day difference between 18ish ping (florida) on LAN server as compared to 100-120ish ping on NA. The last hitting, and reaction to what the other people are doing is nuts.

Those times where you swear to god your morg/blitz/thresh/etc Qs land but didn't would hit damn near every time. Csing is so much easier also. I jumped from like 49% win rate on NA to 60% as a top/jungler LAN after moving my 2nd account there.

I've thought about it, but I don't want to play on LAN permanently so I don't really see a point getting used to low ping goodness.
