Is this supposed to take place a while ago? Looks like it based on the setting. Loki is actually dead in the current MCU timeline right? And is Owen Wilson supposed to be Howard Stark? He looks really similar to John Slattery's portrayal.

It's past Loki who escaped with the Tesseract at the end of Avengers 1 in Endgame, so they had to go back further in time to get it.

Owen Wilson isn't going to be Howard Stark.

Based on the trailer, Loki fucked something up with the timeline when he took the tesseract during the time heist in Endgame

Trailer looks pretty fucking good. I wasn't expecting to be excited for any of these Disney+ shows but Loki looks like it could be the best of the bunch.

I like the other 2 shows fine for what they are but this one's the one I've been waiting for. Looks great.

Tom Hiddleston fucks. In the realm of Marvel actors I'm pretty sure Hiddleston = Loki is on par with RDJ = Iron Man or even greater perhaps. Loki could've just been a shitty sub-boss and they made him a likeable villain.
