All of the Weekly token buys are too low amounts for the token cost, Aegir mats and such for the next class is the only "side value" to the event. RU Roadmap is out we tend to match them.

Is there a decent amount of gameplay/fun to be had if I haven't played since Argos way back in the day, before I get to the 'end-game' which I didn't particularly care for back then altho maybe it's not as bad these days as a solo if there aren't a ton of braindead people queueing for everything?

Have been debating coming back to this instead of doing another stint on BDO last few days.

It could certainly use players. It's at the lowest it's ever been and every month sees it dip further.

RU patch notes are out detailing Road to Act 3 and the other "event", mats for a character 1640 to 1661 and extra box at 1670. The other is extra behemoth mats and gold from Aegir completions. While that is helpful for a single class getting to 1680 the benefit of advanced honing nerfs for the entire roster will dwarf it.

Been a lot of updates and quite the change in direction to make the game more casual friendly upcoming. They're releasing the patch notes for us after KR announcement so folks are expecting that we're going to get simultaneous updates. Gonna be interesting to see what comes of it. I've pretty much decided that I'll call it quits when I get my Kazeros kill and I may decide to compete for a top 10 place for it depending on what that looks like short of the 'second half' of T4 being amazing.

KR notes are out, we'll see what gets applied to us in an hour but -40% gold costs up to 1620 reduces the raw gold from 449k to 333k, add in double honing + books plus double artisan on top of that so maybe like 167k? Still a gold sink but not a deadzone.
  • Tripod Skill Tree Level Improvements
    • The Tripod Skill Tree Level system will be overhauled/removed later this year, so we are implementing some improvements to help players progress before we change the system.
      • Added 50 of "Wishful Amulet" (Can be obtained for 1 Silver) to the "Skill Tree Transfer" NPC.
      • Modified the cost of Sage Powder in the Guild Exchange to 1 Bloodstone.
      • Modified the cost of Sage Powder creation from 10 Gold to 1 Silver.
      • Modified the price of Wishful amulets to 1 Silver in the Legion Raid Exchange, Solo Raid Exchange, and Light's Trial Exchange.
  • Honing Improvements
    • Expanded the Basic Growth Boosting up to Akkan Gear honing level 19 (1620)
      • Increased the basic success rate of honing by 100% up to honing level 19.
      • Level 1 - 19 has been updated with:
        • -20% honing breakthrough cost for materials.
        • -70% honing breakthrough cost for Silver.
        • -40% honing breakthrough cost for Gold.
        • -70% XP required for honing.

This is a good update. Dead zone removal took way too long but makes it enjoyable. Will be in Discord most of the day in case anyone wants to pick this up and needs help.
